Introduction to the Statement
The Roads and Public Transport Authority in Szczecin (hereinafter also referred to as the ‘public body’) undertakes to ensure the accessibility of its website pursuant to provisions of the Act on Digital Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Bodies of 4 April 2019.

Appeal proceedings
- If the public body refuses to ensure the digital accessibility of a website, mobile application or an element of a website or mobile application, indicated in the request, or if the requesting person refuses to use the alternative method of access, pursuant to Article 18(6) of the Act on Digital Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Bodies, the requesting person has the right to file a complaint regarding the digital accessibility of a website, mobile application or an element of a website or mobile application.
- The provisions of Section VIII of the Code of Administrative Procedure of 14 June 1960 apply to complaints examined in proceedings regarding the digital accessibility of websites, mobile applications or elements of websites or mobile applications.
- The provisions of Point 1 and 2 above apply accordingly to the provision of an alternative method of accessing a designated element of a website or mobile application.
- If a request for accessibility or alternative method of accessing information is denied, the requesting person may file a complaint regarding the digital accessibility of a website or an element of a website or mobile application.

Accessible architecture
The building of the Roads and Public Transport Authority, address: ul. Klonowica 5, Szczecin
- There are three entrances to the building. Two of them are open. One is the main entrance with a staircase, located in the front part of the building, and the other is on the right side of the building.
- There is a ramp with handrails leading to the main entrance to the building.
- The car park of the Roads and Public Transport Authority has one designated parking space for people with motor impairments.
- Work is organised in such a way that customers can be served on the ground floor of the building, in the Customer Service Office.
- In the Customer Service Office, there is one desk with a lowered countertop for wheelchair users. If it is not possible to serve a customer in the Customer Service Office, a member of staff talks to the customer on the phone to handle the matter or provide guidance.
- There is a seating area next to the Customer Service Office.
- On the ground floor of the building, next to the Customer Service Office, there is a toilet adapted to the needs of people with reduced mobility.
- You can enter the building with an assistance dog.
- The stairs were marked with black tape.
- Some staff members participated in a training course on how to communicate with people with hearing impairment.
- Our website details the most frequently used procedures, developed with the West Pomeranian Branch of the Polish Association of the Deaf. There are also sign language materials on traffic regulations and public transport in our city.
- Employees of the Customer Service Office and some other employees of the Roads and Public Transport Authority participated in a training course on how to communicate with people with autism spectrum disorder.
- A video showing challenges faced by people on the autism spectrum was also posted on our website. The video is called ‘Nie oceniaj. Everyone has their own K2’ (‘Don’t judge. Everyone has their own K2’).
- A sign language interpreter is available by prior arrangement.
- The most important rooms were marked in Braille.
- Our Bylaws translated into Braille are available at the Customer Service Office.
- An electronic magnifier is available at the Customer Service Office.
- The ACCESSIBILITY tab was added to our website. You can use it to find the rules of reporting lack of access for people with
special needs and the rules of requesting such access.

The building of the Road and Public Transport Authority, address: ul. Niedziałkowskiego 20 A, Szczecin (Ticket Inspection Department)
- The building is located in a courtyard surrounded by tenement houses. The way to the building along Niedziałkowskiego Street and Monte Cassino Street is marked by an information board.
- There are three entrances to the building:
- one is publicly accessible – there is a staircase on the ground floor,
- one is for people with motor impairments – there is a room with a ramp,
- one is closed.
- The rooms in which customers are served are located:
- on the mezzanine floor – spreading debt over instalments, cancellation of outstanding payments for the metered parking zone,
- on the first floor – processing complaints and requests, payments for travelling without a valid ticket.
- The stairs were marked with yellow tape.
- A door bell was installed for people with motor impairments. If required, a customer is invited to a room for people with motor impairments, where a competent member of staff handles the matter.
- You can enter the building with an assistance dog.
- A sign language interpreter is available by prior arrangement.
- An electronic magnifier is available in the room where complaints and applications are processed.
- The most important rooms were marked in Braille and information about opening hours is available on the door.

Ticket office – Basen Górniczy Loop, address: ul. Gdańska 25, Szczecin
- Customers do not need to enter the building – the ticket office is accessible from the outside.
- There are no stairs or differences in surface height at the ticket office.
- The countertop (with a transaction drawer) is at a standard height.
- There is no sign language interpreter on site or online, but you can make an appointment in advance and use the services of a sign language interpreter in the building at ul. Klonowica 5 in Szczecin.
- Some staff members participated in a training course on how to communicate with people with hearing impairment.
- Most of the staff participated in a training course on how to communicate with people with autism spectrum disorder.
- On the ticket office building, there are 2 dynamic passenger information displays and people with visual impairment can use a remote control to turn on voice announcements. The Road and Public Transport Authority gave the remote controls to the West Pomeranian Branch of the Polish Association of the Deaf.
Ticket office – Brama Portowa, address: ul. Brama Portowa 1, Szczecin
- The building is accessible by stairs.
- A wheelchair lift (currently inoperable) was installed next to the stairs.
- The ticket office has a lowered countertop.
- There is a designated sitting area at the ticket office.
- You can enter the building with an assistance dog.
- There is no sign language interpreter on site or online, but you can make an appointment in advance and use the services of a sign language interpreter in the building at ul. Klonowica 5 in Szczecin.

Ticket office – Turzyn Shopping Centre, address: ul. Bohaterów Warszawy 40, Szczecin
- The ticket office is located in the Turzyn Shopping Centre, on the ground floor of the building.
- The building is accessible directly from the pavement, without stairs or differences in surface height.
- The building has 4 entrances with automatic doors and 1 door that is opened manually.
- The ticket office is accessible by two doors that are opened manually (there are no differences in floor height). There is one door on the right side of the ticket office and another door on the left (the ticket office is accessible from one aisle or the other).
- The ticket office is marked with boards hanging nearby, in both aisles leading to it. The ticket office is also marked on the outside of the room.
- There are 2 desks at the ticket office.
- One desk in the ticket office has a lowered countertop for wheelchair users.
- Opposite the desks there is an additional countertop and a designated seating area.
- The car park of the Turzyn Shopping Centre has 4 parking spaces for people with motor impairments.

- A pavement with no steps or differences in surface height leads to the ticket office from Wyzwolenia Street, whereas on Józefa Piłsudskiego Street there are stairs.
- The building is accessible by a door that opens inwards.
- Inside the building, the floor is slightly sloped to allow wheelchairs to drive up to the ticket office.
- Opposite the entrance there are two desks.
- On the left there is a countertop.
- On its right there is a seat.
